We are delighted to have completed the redevelopment of The Canons House & Grounds in Mitcham for The London Borough of Merton.

The community project was awarded monies raised by National Lottery players and awarded through the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and Big Lottery Fund.
Buxton refurbished the Grade II* 17th Century Georgian Canons House using traditional trades these included masonry repairs, fibrous plastering, lincrusta (embossed wallcoverings), overhauling period sashes, and even painting Trompe-l-oeil windows.
We carried out masonry and roof repairs to the 500-year dovecote and replaced the cupola.

We have added a new Café Extension to Madeira Hall and have been carried out hard landscaping works adjacent.
