Buxton Building is honoured to have been appointed by Royal Russell School to undertake the construction of a new two to three-storey junior school, along with the essential external hard and soft landscaping required for occupation, as well as the associated utilities.
Royal Russell School is a prestigious independent day and boarding school located in Croydon, providing education for boys and girls aged 3 to 18. Set on an impressive university-style campus, the school is renowned for its exceptional architecture, spacious classrooms, and outstanding modern facilities, which include provisions for sport, performing arts, science, media technology, and design.

The existing junior school, situated adjacent to the new building, will remain operational throughout the construction period. The safety and wellbeing of staff and pupils is of utmost importance, and we will ensure appropriate measures are in place to safeguard both the people and the buildings within and around the site for the duration of the works.
This new development will also align with Royal Russell School’s commitment to environmental sustainability and wellbeing, targeting a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
