Works are progressing well at Guildford Crematorium with the rafters to the Chapel roof now completed.
This highly sensitive project involves the redevelopment of the Crematorium to provide fit for purpose facilities for the bereaved.
The Crematorium will remain operational throughout the project period by the use of an interim chapel / administrative building and using the existing Crematory.
The remainder of the existing Crematorium will be demolished and in its place, a replacement crematorium will be constructed, including landscaped courtyards, reflective pools and rills, along with new and enhanced landscaping.
