Key Parts of the Project
Steelwork A key milestone was the steelwork, which was designed to match the existing building. The extension includes a brickwork base and vertical metal cladding, providing a practical and attractive finish.
Concrete Floor The next major step was completing the concrete floor, which covers 2,000m², is 250mm thick, and used 500m³ of concrete. The floor was poured over three days and nights to meet FM2 standards, ensuring it is durable and suitable for the building’s needs.
