Christmas donation for Melrose School

With the festive season upon us, Buxton was pleased to support one of our current projects on-site, Melrose School in Mitcham, with a donation to support them providing Christmas presents for some of their young people who come from difficult and deprived backgrounds and who find this a difficult time of year.

Melrose is a community special school within the London Borough of Merton that provides for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD). Many of these pupils also have associated learning difficulties which are wide-ranging in terms of severity.

Buxton is providing a new single-storey school steel-framed structure, accommodating 4nr new classrooms, communal areas as well as a new sports hall. We are also carrying out external works and refurbishment to the existing classrooms and catering areas.
