Bow Street - New Project Award

Buxton Building Contractors is delighted to announce a new project at 35-36 Bow Street, a notable site located directly opposite the Royal Opera House in London’s vibrant Covent Garden.

This exciting refurbishment and extension will transform the building into a modern office space while preserving its Victorian façade.

The works include constructing a sleek steel-framed fifth-floor extension, complete with terraces offering views over Covent Garden, and infilling the rear lightwell to create additional office space. The project also involves installing new windows and upgraded entrance joinery. The stair and lift cores will be extended, with new fire escape staircases added to improve functionality.

To enable construction above the operating Wildwood restaurant, exterior scaffolding with a gantry will be installed, ensuring safe access while minimising disruption. Careful planning and collaboration will be key to delivering this vibrant new workspace in the heart of Theatreland.
