Buxton are delighted to have started work on the Blackheath and Bromley new community sports and recreation centre at Norman Park in Hayes Lane, Bromley

The new project secures the future of the track at Norman Park, one of the best-used facilities in the country, as well as providing a range of improved facilities for members of both the Club and the local Community. The majority of funding for the project is being provided by the Club and its members from the proceeds of the sale of its existing clubhouse in Hayes; donations and fundraising activities. Significant contributions are also to be provided by Sport England and Bromley Council.

The redevelopment of Norman Park will see the demolition of the existing pavilion and the creation of a new ‘community hub’ at the well-used sports ground.

The new facility will include an indoor multi-sport hall, physio treatment rooms, multifunction rooms, a cafe, and a function area.

The development will see a predicted 71% rise in the use for the already ‘most-used track in the country’.
