.... but don't worry it's only a training exercise!
On Saturday 27 February 2016, our site at Tubs Hill House in Sevenoaks was a scene of much excitement and drama as Kent Fire and Rescue services held a large scale training exercise by setting up a scenario within the two 8 storey buildings whilst they are in the early stages of being renovated
The ‘scenario’ was set up for the rescue services to receive a 999 emergency call from Buxton as the main contractors working on the scheme after a fire breaks out between the 7th and 8th floors and there are four people reported as missing.
Although fictional the fire and rescue services made it as realistic as possible using simulated smoke.
We are delighted that the exercise was a success and all at Buxton were relieved to see that the intrepid rescue team were able to save Buxton Bear and bring him safely back to ground level unscathed!
