Works are progressing well at Sunnydown Boys School with the first floor scaffolding being erected to the new classroom block.

The project involves the removal of two existing modular classroom units and the construction of a new two storey, pitched roof classroom block, a single storey dining room extension and the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof of existing sports hall and associated external works. This is a secondary school for young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and is Buxton’s first project for the Surrey Primary Schools Programme.
