The Terrace Café at the London Zoo was opened 18th July 2013 by Cheryl Baker. Champagne was flowing nicely from 5pm with freshly made food prepared in the new kitchens. Pizzas were baked from a new clay oven; it’s flames could be seen from the outside terrace.
The contract involved the refurbishment of the existing Regent building, brick arches that were once hidden were revealed. Modern architecture in the form of a new glass frontage and exposed steel work gives the building a new contemporary appearance.
